Fireworks Committee Donates £2000 to New Kingston Hospital Dementia Unit

Last Wednesday evening saw Justin Pinches and Nick Irons of Kingston Round Table, join Alan Stevenson of Kingston Rotary at an event to mark the launch of a new Kingston Hospital fundraising appeal.

The new appeal aims to raise £750,000 to fund the redesign and refurbishment of a ward on the Esher wing to better serve patients suffering from dementia.

Nick, Justin, and Alan (members of the Rotary/KRT fireworks committee) were in attendance to learn more about the campaign, and to surprise fundraisers with a cheque for £2000 from the proceeds of the 2014 firework display.
